The short version

Data Lynes Electrical is a family firm. Electrics are the family trade — it's what we grew up around — and the standards that come with that aren't negotiable: work to the current regulations, test everything, certify what needs certifying, and leave the place tidier than we found it.

We're based in Ruislip and work within about seven miles of it, on purpose. Staying local means we're not pricing in half a morning of traffic — and it means our reputation lives where we do. The next customer is usually a few streets from the last one, and around here word travels faster than a van.

What you can hold us to

• NICEIC Approved Contractor — our work is independently assessed by the UK’s electrical certification body.
• Every job to BS 7671 (18th Edition) — the current wiring regulations, not the ones from when the house was built.
• City & Guilds certified electricians — qualified for the work, not adjacent to it.
• Proper certification — an EIC, Minor Works Certificate or EICR wherever the job calls for one.
• A full workmanship guarantee on everything we do.
• Straight answers — including “that doesn’t need doing” when it doesn’t.

What we don't do

We're a domestic contractor: houses and flats, not factories and shopfronts. If your job is outside our lane, we'll say so early and point you somewhere sensible — that's quicker for everyone than pretending.
